The lead detective on the Epstein case was Detective Joseph Recarey who died under mysterious circumstances in 2018.
In an interview with Shaun Attwood, Dougan claims that he was asked to store the videos by Detective Recarey who allegedly did not trust the Sheriff’s Department.

I have no idea if Dougan can be believed, but the article interested me enough that I am now able to give a summary of some of this curious case.
The “leak” is a 9 minute video made by John Mark Dougan, the man referred to in the article at Politicalite above who was a Deputy Sheriff in Palm Beach County, Florida, at the time Jeffrey Epstein’s mansion was raided by the Sheriff’s office in 2005. Dougan claims to have seen seven of Epstein’s secret videos. They seem to be what some people believe were Epstein’s ‘blackmail videos’.
In Dougan’s own video which I will link below he says that ten years ago a “detective friend” gave him a copy of Jeffery Epstein’s archive of “740+ videos” for safekeeping [namely, Detective Joseph Recarey who was in charge of Epstein’s first case in 2008. Recarey died after a brief illness in 2018].
Dougan, who retired from police work in 2009 [see NY Post article linked below for their description of his subsequent activities], says that after the Feds became interested in him they seized his computer in 2016, the one which he claims also contained the Epstein files . Dougan says [see his Bio linked below for his side of the story] that in fear for his life he fled the United States. He now lives in Russia where he has claimed political asylum.
He says that in 2019 the Feds learned that he had a backup of the Epstein files that were sent to him in Russia. He thinks that the FBI told British intelligence about this and then MI5 then leaked a story to the British press that there was was concern that Dougan may have possessed and passed on compromising information about Prince Andrew to the Russians. [September 2019] (Personally, I don’t see why British intelligence would want to leak a story like that)
So, he says, at the time of this media storm he and another witness agreed to take one look, for the first time, at a random sample of the “740+” Epstein videos. They only viewed 7 videos, all of which were “taken by cameras strategically placed in various areas of a residential home, not in a commercial setting. Out of the seven files, all of them contained girls that I am certain to be under the age of consent. Six of them had men that were much older, that looked to be at least in their forties.”
I did not hear Dougan say anything about if he saw any compromising video of Prince Andrew. But he does believe “with a high degree of certainty” that one of the videos he saw is of corporate executive Steve Burke.
He says, “The man in this video is shown having a relationship with a blonde girl, who I am certain is several years too young to consent to such things.” There is only a still shot allegedly from the video in question and the female is blacked out. He says he hopes she might see the photo and come forward to give clarification about when and where it was, and who the man was.

The pedophile is a child mentally. Often they were abused themselves or abused other children when they were children. As adults they are ashamed and act to remove their shame through sex acts with children in an expectation that it will be acceptable or the shame will be shared or offloaded to another child.
Pedophilia is criminal in addition to being perverse. It’s criminal in general as criminals often perversely reason that it happened to them so it’s Ok to do it to others. Pedophiles thus reason it’s Ok to have sex with children because it happened to them and there were no consequences as long as it’s kept quiet.
The adapted secrecy of pedophilia causes them to go underground and find each other forming networks of pedophilia and learning to protect each other including enriching and empowering each other. They may be placed in positions of power because their horrible secret provides a means by which others can control them. For example, Republican Speaker Dennis Hastert was a pedophile.
It used to be that homosexuality was the taboo that could be used to control people in power. But current social permissiveness has allowed them to tout their perversion as somehow normalized.

Please approach this story with caution.
It appears there are two possibilities:
1.The now deleted original article was an elaborate and sophisticated attempt to discredit Mark Dougan and his information.
2. Mark Dougan is a fraud and cannot be trusted. Time will tell.
Any in depth investigation will require someone willing to view pornography on the web and I am not that person.

Seems like Dougan should just release all of the blackmail videos to the public and let the chips fall where they may.
That this article is gone without explanation is a red flag.
We’ll see if anyone alive can back this up... most people aren’t thrilled with the idea of suiciding themselves...

I don’t think they are attracted to sex with kids.
There’s a very strange quality to some people, which is not easily visualizable from a normal human perspective. When you see it, it really only makes sense in the context of someone who has taken on the job of being evil, and who approaches it like a day at work.
What makes it strange is I have seen people who seemingly would have preferred doing other stuff, and who could have gotten more of things they wanted like wealth and power, but they actually would sacrifice what they wanted, and screw themselves over, to do the evil thing and hurt somebody else.
I suspect that is why spirituality, and the the Bible, and all of that is still so strong. Once you see it, you realize it really is the only explanation.
In cases like this though, I think this is the unwritten rule of how you climb the ladder. All of the system is blackmail. It sounds like hyperbole, but it is not. By doing this, this guy was likely knowingly giving Epstein blackmail control, and as a result Epstein’s leadership would then promote him because he was a controllable asset.
It is like Disney-story that came out recently, where the executives all had to attend parties with the child stars. Throughout the party, executives would take a child star in the back room, and molest them. It sounds like regular pedo-debauchery but the truth is they all knew there were cameras in the back room, and the machine was using it as a way to demonstrate fealty to the machine.
People have no idea the degree to which very smart intel operators began forming the network decades back, how big it has gotten, how just how much it has penetrated everywhere that cultural and population-level opinions are disseminated.
The original link worked last night, I read the article, and later it appears the host news site for the article took it down.
Based on reporting on reddit, it appears after the pictures were posted, some folks with interesting hobbies recognized
the posted still shots from a “porn video” that has been circulating on the web for some time.
Did Dougan legitamately think he was posting images from Epstein’s video library? Was this video from the internet in Epstein’s video collection?
Was Dougan scammed or was he the scammer?
We will likely never know, imo.
