This painting is titled "National Emergency," depicts immigration partisanship ... the progressives (now admit to communism) want to give non-citizens privileges only American Citizen's have.

Agreed - they are so over the top it is hard to tell if they are serious or satire. Which also is scary, because it just shows how ridiculous the left’s positions are.

Concur. At first it was tolerable, but by the time I got to “Forgotten Man” I had had enough. Clueless twits wallowing in self-importance.

Sad, because it could have been a great article/interview if a couple of actual journalists had been involved.

Or, imagine what Mark Steyn would have done with that material.

I hadn't heard of this publication so I started perusing their site. Aside from noticing the high opinion they have of themselves, I found this interesting...

On the Donate page it says: "We have offices in London and Washington, D.C."

On the About page it says: "Our office is located in New Orleans"

On the bottom of currentaffairs.org it shows "New Orleans London Delhi Rio Tokyo Stockholm Lawrence"

Seems there's some confusion on their side as to just where they are.

Worse than not understanding us, they can’t honestly or intellectually describe our beliefs.

Not surprising, but nevertheless concerning, in that they don’t really even know what they are opposing— it’s just reactive ‘me too’ blather.

The alternative is too much work: independence requires responsibility, which is anathema to the Progressive mind.

Actually, they want to give illegals privileges that American citizens DON'T have:

• Immunity from having a car impounded at a roadblock.
• Immunity from identity theft.
• Immunity from naturalization residency requirements.
• Immunity from jail sentences.
