A flag company in Pennsylvania will not be able to sell flags for Memorial Day observances because of the governor’s shutdown of all non-life-sustaining businesses to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
FlagZone LLC near Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, had asked Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf for special permission to ship American-made flags for veterans’ graves in nearby Berks County and nationwide for Memorial Day.
Flagzone LLC was one of the many non-life-sustaining businesses that Wolf ordered to close on March 19 in response to the coronavirus. “We want to be able to honor veterans as we do every year and as we’ve done across Pennsylvania and the nation,” company President Daniel Ziegler told the Reading Eagle on May 6.

But big box stores can sell flags, lottery tickets, alcohol, and horse track gambling (one state over) is ok.
Perhaps Gov. Wolf would have no problem with UN flags being manufactured?

Many of my ancestors located in Berks County from Germany, Switzerland, in the late 1600s and early 1700s They fought in the Rev. and Civil Wars. I hate that Governor, but it’s up those in PA to get rid of him. Watch out for election cheating
The cause of freedom died in America forevermore in March. Business now exists by the permission and for the glory of big government. Every business owner in America hereafter will avoid such politically incorrect conduct as waving the American flag. After all, it’s a symbol of repression against rapists, murderers, Nazis, illegal aliens, the Imperial Japanese Navy, bank robbers, drug dealers, Communist agitators, and other pillars of the community. Riffraff like this businessman, who dares to attempt to employ Americans at jobs, now belong in jail.
I remember a time when robbers, rapists, assailants, shooters, killers, gangsters, child molesters, and drug dealers were almost universally condemned and routinely sent to prison. Democrats now instead celebrate these same sorts of persons as pillars of the community, a category once reserved for small-business owners, shopkeepers, workingmen, and stay-at-home mothers, but Democrats now send these sorts of creeps to jail.
Remember Pennsylvania, this is what you voted for!

This governor is out of control. Many served and many lost their lives so that he has the right to be stupid. I for one had both parents serve in the military in WWII and my brother, sister and I were raised to love God, family and country. Let us pray in these final days for people to turn to Christ before it is too late. God is in control of all things . . .no one is guaranteed a next breath or a tomorrow. Wake up America, God is waiting for us to pledge allegiance to Him.
