I drive all over NY regularly. I keep it to 75 in a 65, 65 in a 55 and the donut jockeys don’t bother me. I know every one of their hiding spots between Syracuse & Binghamton on I-81.
It’s everywhere, not just Howard County. I’ve been amazed at the accidents being reported daily on radio — seems like almost as many as with peak traffic. And every night you can hear drag racing on the two-lane country road behind where we live.

And was passed by Motorcycles doing 130+ ...
Rt 29 and Rt 100 in HoCo has always been a cop haven...

A couple of weeks back on the last day of April the cops had a field day pulling over speeders. Sirens could be heard all day long.
Prior to and after that the LEO presence was minimal.
It’s all about the money.

“I see it all the time. Just this morning, a guy (was) probably going over 100 (mph) on the beltway earlier this morning. I see it quite a bit,” said Bill Adamson.

Nah, my vehicle is a non-descipt 2-door F-150 with 5.0 V-8... Looks like it going slow because it is a truck... The little sports car wannabes are who get ticketed...
Actually there are a few total jackasses.
Some are just a bit higher speed than normal, but others are raging out there, the worst of course being the jerks who just have to weave around the few cars there are.

75-80 up 83, 85 - 90 on 695/same on 70...
Cops are non-existent right now...
Makes 3 hour round trips, 2 hours or less (accounting for business deals time in the city)...

Balt-Wash Parkway must be insane right now. Always best to avoid Federal traffic court, but locals don’t seem much to care on this little road.
That's what I been seeing too, I don't see speed traps and 80 is the new 55.
I was riding with a guy somewhere in Maryland and he got pulled over for speeding.
He asked the cop why he didn’t pull over any of the cars that had been passing us.
The cop’s exact words were, “I got you, that’s all that matters.”
