Actually only the son is charged with murder. Dad is charged with Aggravated Assault. The son is looking at life. Dad? I don’t know what the penalty for Agg Assault is in Georgia, but in Florida back in the ‘90s it topped out at 5 years. Someone on a different thread referred to them as losers. And they were right. The only issue in question is the degree of the loss. Should they win in State Court, the Feds will come after them for violating the victim’s Civil Rights.
