According to this story, the owner said nothing had ever been taken from the property.
The owner seems to be changing his story and distancing himself as much as possible from this incident. He previously confirmed that $2,500 worth of fishing gear was stolen from his property but didn't report it to police: https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-shooting-of-ahmaud-arbery-an-unarmed-black-man-is-roiling-georgia?via=twitter_page
"two thefts had occurred in the neighborhood in the first two months of the year. One was a theft of $2,500 worth of fishing equipment from Englishs property, which he said he didnt report to police but confirmed to The Daily Beast. The second report was of the theft of a 9mm handgun from Travis McMichaels unlocked truck"

In one of the AJC stories, the homeowner was quoted as saying the same thing about the fishing gear, and also that he was not sure if it had been stolen at the Brunswick property or at the property where he lives now.
