My response to Lilly: “You don’t own the words, and the image is public domain by now. Go eat a brown pill.”

Clap back? See a doctor. He’ll prescribe some antibiotic.

Well, Lily, the fact is that living in a computer simulation is not your sole idea either. That particular scenario has bounced around sci-fi for several years.

I agree. Twitter cannot die soon enough, either.

It changed after 1980, during Reagan’s era. I don’t know what the Smithsonian mag is talking about with the 2000 business. I first voted in 1980 and saw it change between 80 and 84.

The Wachowski brothers are one of the few cases where the line between creativity and insanity was bright - when they decided they were women.

“Clap back” has become a polite derogatory statement. Sure, I’ll clap for you, slowly and annoyingly, not in praise.

As I understand it, the original movie was written by a woman who meant for it to be a Christian allegory.

I read somewhere that it was based on this:

The Sprawl Trilogy

I don't know the true story of the movie's origins.

I’m getting visions of the Monopoly Man...any second now, “she” is going to pick that little dude up, toss him over “her” shoulders, and go full Ace Ventura.

“Do not pass Go! Do not collect two hundred dollars!”

It is to laugh.
