Is it pork based? If a medicine is pork based and there is no alternative it is kosher because saving a life is more important. But I’m not sure the moslems would have a similar opinion. And maybe that’s okay, right?

Jewish law allows exceptions to save lives when there’s a demonstrated medical need.

Medicines are not subject to kashrut laws.

Medicine is not “food,” even if taken by mouth.
