"mistake"?

One doubts that.

Models, especially those with a large number of variables have such wide error bands that the assumptions drive the results.

Wonder why NY is not under water as the (cough, cough) models had predicted it would be by now?

With the right assumptions for variables, you can persuade a model to dance a polka.

Policy-makers know this.

I might say the programming errors in Michael Mann’s global warming model could give it a run for its money, but then again, those were not mistakes, they were intentional.

Was it a software mistake...or was it something far more sinister?

Yep. The only reason this is the most devastating software “mistake” in history is that society did not buy into the Climate! Change! Disaster! Modeling scam, yet.

(When someone like Ferguson keeps making giant “mistakes” and keeps on getting funding, I don’t think it is a mistake. Whoever supplied the funding was getting the results they wanted. If this turns into a worldwide depression, the people in Britain responsible for sponsoring this should be tried for “Crimes Against Humanity.”)

LOL! Funny thing is that when that “NYC under water” garbage comes out, the true believers see it being deep enough to cover the skyscrapers. Uh, no.

Sweden did not go into lock down. It remained open.
The UK did go into lock down and has suffered enormous economic loss. The unemployment rate in Sweden is half of that in the United States.

The per capita death rate in the UK is about 20% HIGHER than in Sweden.

That computer model is total crap and a travesty against the whole world that was gullible.

And all the same people involved will double down on economic destruction based on climate models.

South Dakota, North Dakota and a few others didn’t lock down either.

Niel Ferguson actually has a HISTORY of sky high death estimates.

His projections led to millions of British livestock killed due to hoof and mouth disease projections. And it turned out inspectors were spreading it through unsterilized shoes.

He predicted up to fifty thousand dead from mad cow disease.
Source: https://www.theguardian.com/education/2002/jan/09/research.highereducation

He predicted up to 200 million dead from bird flu. Note that’s worse than the Wuhan virus and they still didn’t lock everything down.
Source: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2005/sep/30/birdflu.jamessturcke

That makes the hyperbolic Wuhan virus death projections his FOURTH wild projection .... used to determine policy

Trump comes out of this a hero REGARDLESS!

What was he to do? Take a chance that MILLIONS of Americans wouldn’t DIE!?

How could he? Just “roll the dice” as he has said. OOPS, “my bad” a couple of MILLION Americans died because I did NOTHING! Oh well.

They ALL know NOW that the models and predictions were drastically WRONG! Even Dr. Birx is questioning the COVID-19 death numbers, especially CDC numbers.

The Dems trying to destroy Trump with this virus have assured his reelection. The campaign slogan wrote itself.

“I did it before, I’ll do it again”.

The electorate doesn’t change presidents during a war. Trump has often referred to this fight against this pandemic as a “war”.

I LOVE this president! BEST president EVER! (Except maybe Washington).

For Such A Time As This by Wayne Watson

Now, all I have is now
To be faithful
To be holy
And to shine
Lighting up the darkness
Right now, I really have no choice
But to voice the truth to the nations
A generation looking for God
For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this
You, Do you ever wonder why
Seems like the grass is always greener
Under everybody else’s sky
But right here, right here for this time and place
You can live a mirror of His mercy
A forgiven image of grace
For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this
Can’t change what’s happened till now
But we can change what will be
By living in holiness
That the world will see Jesus
For such a time as this
I was placed upon the earth
To hear the voice of God
And do His will
Whatever it is
For such a time as this
For now and all the days He gives
I am here, I am here
And I am His
For such a time as this

It has been stated that Covid 19 is very susceptible to warm temps and cannot stand the temps of tropical climates. I have seen that issue several times. What is puzzling is the expert news medical reporters cannot understand why Florida and other southern warm climate areas have such good statistics of low infections. Don’t they understand that the spring temperatures are much higher in Fl. and therefore the Virus is limited in its infection rates due to higher temps?

Hawaii reported zero deaths and zero new cases yesterday. Zero!

In fact, they only have had 640 cases during this whole time. Not sure how many of those were tourists that already had it when they got there.

Certainly one contributing aspect.
