Not a bad guess. It’s a long time (more than 30 years) since I worked in Eureka, and I don’t have perfect memory, but the pictures do look like what I recall of one of the bars there. I won’t name the place.

A population of ~2000 is about a factor of 10x too large for Eureka. I’m thinking maybe Lovelock instead.
