One of the heroes of the Terrorist Attack on the train in France has won his District to run as a Republican in Oregon. Alek Skarletos truly seems like a nice guy. I hope the Republican voters in that District can put him over the top.
Agree. I have a friend who grew up in Oregon and she and her family are disgusted that the 60s hippies have taken over their glorious state. The people east of the Cascades need to vote in higher numbers to try to overcome the cheating west of the Cascades.
Yep and the Conservative /GOP counties
Good to see Knute failing.
Thanks for those links, Sunken!
Washington Post
Mother Jones
CNN
all have stories about Trump denying funds to mail in voting states. May Oregon’s Multnomah County be the first county to be denied funds.
My pleasure.
Sadly no half viable Republican ran for the Senate.
But goods news in CD-2 (the only Republican seat) Conservative Former State Sen Cliff Bentz won the crowded primary that was expected to go to RINO past gubernatorial nominee Knute Bueller.
Makes you wonder if the RINO brigades will claim Bentz is “too Conservative” and endorse whatever Stalinist nominee the Demonrats vomited up. You know how they roll.
Thanks for posting ...
It sounds like the 3rd and 4th place finishers were perhaps more conservative than Bentz, who sounds like the farm candidate.
3 (viable) conservative candidates could have given this to Bueller, he didn’t even get a quarter of the vote though, pretty pathetic for past gubernatorial nominee.
Oregons populous counties are in the Willamette Valley. Lots of patriots on the coast.
I wonder if those services include shipping the homeless to other counties.
Eagle Scouts, fighter pilots...DeFazio has beaten a lot of good folks.
I hOPE he can dump DeFazio as DeFazio has been in Congress waaaay too long. Prayers for a Skarletos win!
The 3rd place finisher was Jason Atkinson. He endorsed Pig Vomit for President, so there goes his credibility. Crumpacker, the 4th place finisher, has had relatives serve in Congress from both Oregon and Indiana.
Actually, the one thing about Bentz is that he lives about a mile or so from the Idaho state line. That district is so massively large (bigger than many states) that most of it will be living hundreds of miles away from their Congressmember. This seat, of course, is the one the Dem legislature corrals all the Republicans into (if there was any fairness, 3 out of the 5 seats would be Republican).
