Justice Thomas is a shining example of everything that makes America great.
And that is why the Left hates him so much.

He’s a symbol of the victory of right over wrong. As part of that, Justice Thomas’ life has shined a light on the hypocrisy of progressivism.

Worse yet, Clarence Thomas is a black man who dared stray from the liberal pew. That sets a precedent that could shake the foundations of the Grievance Industrial Complex.
They hate him because they fear him.

Attempted to watch the movie as aired last evening on our Western North Carolina PBS station and half way through the movie, the sound quit....not sure what THAT was about as I know that the parts regarding his Senate confirmation for the Supreme Court contained some damaging film of Joe Biden’s questioning....so I’m thinking maybe.....hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

One of the rights few big wins in the Trump era has been in transforming a far-left legal system into one poised to reduce judicial tyranny. That has only been possible because Thomas, and people like him, spent 40 years in the wilderness planting away patiently while enduring vicious scorn for sticking to their principles.Conservatives have felt good and hard in other political domains the serious lack of a back bench to pull from for example, the lack of personnel to execute an American First foreign policy, the lack of people skilled in decrusting bureaucracy, and the permeation of clueless big business types in education policy.
Very cogent analysis.

conservatives wish to attain their longest-held ambitions, from rolling back abortion rights to ending affirmative action
Whic conservative or Christian evangelical group has been pushing for rolling back affirmative action? Not that I have a problem with that, but I would like to know how that got there?

I watched a documentary that includes the confirmation investigation including the Anita Hill accusations.
Biden was a smarmy little shit back then (too).

We can’t forget a good portion of all the left attacking Trump and using anything to ruin and remove him is the battle of the Supreme Court.

Hiring Clarence Thomas to work in the Missouri Attorney General’s office was Jack Danforth’s greatest accomplishment.

ending affirmative action I have been pushing for it. It is an abomination against both the rule of law, under equal justice, and the fundamental freedom of association.

One of the happiest moments expressed by Justice Thomas in public was captured at the Kavanaugh swearing-in at the White House:

Thomas is immersed in the Natural Law, which in a limited way informed our Constitution.
He is, without a doubt, one of the greatest justices to ever sit on the Court.
For those of you interested John C.H. Wu, a Chinese jurist came to America and discovered the Natural Law roots of our system. For years he argued with Oliver W. Holmes about such. Those letters are available.
Wu's great book “Fountain of Justice” is worth a read.

A bound set of Thomas’ opinions would be a gem. I’ve only read a few in their entirety, but the one’s I’ve read are incredible walks through American philosophy, first principles and history.

I love the brilliant smile from Judge Thomas. The sourpuss stare from RBG is almost as good.
