Some months ago I sat in on a presentation by an HR consultant at a business owners’ meeting. He made the astute point that American Party divisions are decades out of date — and really haven’t made sense since the end of our post-WW2 Industrial Age in the 1970s.

Okay, so forgive me for asking what his point was... Are we supposed to all think the same with regard to everything around us? No more consideration of welfare, immigration, and social issues? Should everyone go globalist? The guy sounds a bit like he’s given up on society.

But then you said he’s an HR type, and in my long experience HR professionals can be either very wishy-washy or cast iron convinced they know everything.

Still curious.
