@RandPaul
Unmasking essentially is an end-run around the Constitution. The lesson that we should all be taking away from this is not My political opponents should not be able to spy on me without a warrant. The lesson should be NO ONE should be allowed to spy without a warrant.

NO ONE should get away with criminal activities. And this includes Illegal immigrants.
May I add, warrants should be exceptionally difficult to obtain. There are deep state judges too.
Domestic government spies must be executed for crimes against the Republic
Rand mentions probable cause and the different standards in the video...
Too late.
Illegal Search and Seizure.
Probable Cause.
Freedom of Speech.
Equal Justice for all.
Americans understand this.
The Uniparty wants The People to do what they are told.

True as far as it goes. But there are so many corrupt or seditious or careless or just plain dumb judges that requiring a warrant is no real protection for American citizens anyway. Just saying its a very good thing in principle but can so easily be rendered moot, a mere travesty of protection in practice. Alas, as President John Adams told us, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
I agree with Rand. We should set up a special court that would oversee the gov if they want to... oh wait. Nevermind.
I wonder if Trump will nix the browser spying, that has bipartisan support in CONgress?
Totally Agree. It takes very little time to get a warrant.
Spy only for cause approved by a judge based upon a warrant. Yes that’s it.
Yes, in principle. But in reality there is so much corruption that applying for a warrant is likely to put the target on notice that he will be spied upon, and he’ll adjust his behavior accordingly. When you know you’re being watched, you behave, or learn to mask or hide the behavior.
Get rid of the corrupt Deep-Staters and public officials, with prejudice.
That episode was on Heroes & Icons, All Star Trek a couple of months ago.
