Pastor Darrell Scott says Trump is the most pro-black president he's seen in his lifetime
Washington Examiner ^ | May 21, 2020 | Mica Soellner

"I've lived under 12 presidential administrations," Scott said. "I was born during Eisenhower's administration. This president has been the most pro-black president in my lifetime. When I say 'pro,' I'm saying 'pro' as in proactive. He's been proactive rather than reactive to issues concerning minorities, underserved, and disadvantaged communities than any other president in my lifetime."

Trump pro Black? I dunno, I mean we can run with that. But Trump is above all, PRO-AMERICAN. So if you are black, and you are American, then yes, he is with you.

All my life (I am 60), all I ever heard was, what we need is a non-politician in there. And no lawyers. We need someone to kick butt, not be beholding to the special interests. Someone who doesn't NEED the next election. Someone who will not be concerned with the elite class. The entrenched class. The bureaucratic class. Someone who doesn't NEED the job to validate himself.

It was always a wistful fantasy. One that could NEVER come true...

Until it did.

I watched his meeting in Detroit. He is such a good man and it’s obvious he actually want to fix this problem that has been a festering sore on this country. I love to watch him interact with Americans. You can not possibly watch him and not recognize he loves this country and all her people.

You took the words right out of my mouth.

During the early primaries, Trump was near the bottom on my list of preferred candidates. I remember thinking "Donald Trump? are you freaking kidding me?" Eventually I started warming to him and his direct style and ended up (albiet reluctantly) voting for him in the primaries. Once he was the nominee and I started watching how he was just so in-your-face with Hillary and the media, I thought, "God must have sent this man."

Yes, you are right, Trump’s policies, like all conservative policies, are geared to individuals without the identity politics. However, one needs to look at the source of the assertation: a black man, who has seen presidential policies in the past fail to address black areas in a productive manner.

For instance, he saw LBJ screw the pooch with the “Great Society” dystopia that essentially froze in place current racial economic and family societies to the margins. He saw the malaise caused by the policies that affected certain citizens in the country as much as they did, and in fact that was the POINT of the Democrat Party: to create stagnation, chaos, and outright segregation.

So for Trump to do this, and hopefully with control of both chambers of Congress along with the REAL “first term” of Trump, 2021-2025 may be where America can be brought back from the brink. Maybe.

President said it best. “The Democrats have been promising for sixty years” and nothing. So, what have you got to lose?

I wonder if songwriter Darrell Scott has written any songs in.violation of the laws. Songwriting is not essential.

Trump needs an entire commercial with Darrell Scott-he was on Varney & Co this morning, 6/11 and he was great. He called Biden a liar and then when pressed said Biden was more full of shit than a Thanksgiving turkey and ticked off the things that Biden did that hurt the black community and all the positives that Trump has done and how irresponsible and bad it would b to defund police. I could only find this https://www.foxnews.com/media/pastor-darrell-scott-defunding-disbanding-police-is-irresponsible

here it is Darrel Scott on Varney & Co-well worth a listen:
https://grabien.com/story.php?id=292915

he warms up by saying: and then gets more specific

SCOTT: “Joe Biden has made another one of his — well, what can I say, he is a liar. He is a fabricator. He is a plagiarist. So you know, I’m not surprised that he says this, especially however, he is trying to deflect from his long record of racism. I mean here is a guy who eulogized the former grand wizard of the KKK. Here is a guy who opposed busing and desegregation.”
