And there you have it.

Another victory for Communism which never died. In America, the DNC is popping corks and sharpening knives to finish off America as Soros smiles.

No more visas for the 360,000 Chinese students coming to USA to study. Universities can set up satellite campuses in China and ship the oversupply of commie professors there rather than bring the army of intellectual property thieves here. Because of grade inflation and affirmative action policies, USA universities are known to be an easy ride compared to traditional merit-based universities.

The people should be evacuated and leave them with an empty city. Cut off China trade hard. We gave them an opportunity to better themselves with some prosperity.
All we did was create a wealthy more technologically capable communist dictatorship enemy.
Better to take the hit financially now than to compound the error.
China is a classic example of the sunk cost fallacy.

China will get a beautiful vibrant city and turn it into a smog filled scary hellhole. How charming.

China might be fine with a gleaming but empty Hong Kong. But to where would 7 million people evacuate?

That was one of the reasons China released the Wuhan flu. My opinion
To: ducttape45; Tai_Chung
As Tai_Chung noted, the 99-year lease between the UK and China ended in 1997.
That was in no way a fair lease. What country would freely lease one of its cities to another country? It would be humiliating. The Hong Kong lease only happened because China was weak, and the UK was strong.
But now China is strong, and the UK is weak. So the UK had no option but to let Hong Kong go. One Chinese division could have overrun the city in a day. And then what could the UK have done? After all, the lease was over.

I doubt that anyone is surprised that the commies want Hong Kong as is. They will turn it into a hell-hole just like their own.
Partner, the Chicoms got Hong Kong free of charge and the Chicoms did not have to pay a dime for this take over of Hong Kong.
The Brits should have told them to fly a kite.
We have given the Chicoms so much technology and also, the Chicoms have either copied, stolen, cheated or lied about the Technology that we in the West had to give to them.
CEO's and Boards of Directors of companies here in the U.S.A. did not even know what these China Design Techology Centers do for the Chinese.
The Clintoons gave them everything except the Kitchen Sink.
Obama the Mooselimb POTUS before President Trump also gave the Chicoms everything since Obama hates this country with a passion.

Well, it certainly put a FAST stop to the protests.
I don’t put anything past the ChiComs.
