President Donald Trump spoke briefly at the White House Friday and called for state governors to allow for churches and other places of worship to reopen to the public.
Trump says he considers houses of worship “essential” and wants them to reopen this weekend.

The only time I have worn one was when I had to take my 87 year old dad to the eye doctor. Other than that screw it. Got a haircut from someone operating under cover. Had a few beers at a bar. Not obeying ANY of their bullshit.

I’ve only worn a mask a few times since this nightmare started. It was never mandatory though.
Now it’s too hot to wear it. Most people here (LA) wore it for all the “flatten the curve” BS, but now maybe 50% people wearing it. At 90 degrees masks get very old very fast.

Reading your comment and then the article . . . I can't see what you're seeing. I only see one way, that states can't keep churches closed, and he has the means to see that they open them. Which he's not specifying.
And I don't remember seeing him--a veteran negotiator--make a provocative statement for which he didn't have a 50-ton mallet waiting.
That was my thought also. I actually kind of hope the governors do not permit churches to return, just to see which churches stand up, and which would perpetually remain bowing to their tyranny.

What if a State decides to never allow churches to meet again; who has the authority to stop it. George Wallace might be able to answer that question if he were still around.
