The MEEK Sessions was too cowardly to not SUBMIT to the Deep Staters in the DOJ. Alternatively, he stands with the Deep Staters and voluntarily went along with their wishes. In either case, we can NOT trust him in the Senate in the future.

I recently listened to Coach Tuberville doing an interview on local talk radio and he’s definitely less polished than the eloquent Jeff Sessions.
That said, Tuberville indicated that he was running as the President’s man in the Senate and it is well known that Trump values loyalty a great deal.
Jones will not be a push over in the general election, so if Tuberville wins the GOP primary it will be very important he rides the President’s coattails and doesn’t go off the rails and implode going into November.
Holding the Senate runs a strong second to Trump gaining reelection.

That was pretty brutal. I was wondering if Trump would wade into this contest, and I guess this answers that question decisively. Was this a response to Sessions open letter to Alabama explaining his recusal from acting as Trump’s AG?
This Sessions v Tuberville runoff was supposed to be 31 Mar, but was delayed by COVID-19 until 14 July. It was looking like a pretty close race, but I suspect this will swing at least a few percent.

I had very high hopes for Jeff Sessions as AG. Hopelessly they were dashed. So yes, let’s give Tommy Tuberville a try. New blood on The Senate.
Sessions was a solid Senator.
I’d vote for him, if I lived there.
