He wasn’t a resident. He had been a resident in a group home for the mentally ill, where he apparently beat up some of the staff, and had been moved to this nursing home after being diagnosed with Covid-19.
So, he was now residing in the nursing home. A resident.
Point is, he wasn't an employee.
