"Real Time" host Bill Maher looked back with apparent regret Friday night on the Democratic-led impeachment of President Trump, saying it "turned out to be a horrible thing."
During a conversation with liberal filmmaker Michael Moore, Maher pointed to Trump's recent firings of inspectors general, most recently the ousting of State Department watchdog Steve Linick, and complained the firings got very little media attention amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Moore then pivoted the conversation to the Russia investigation -- claiming Trump "bullied" former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and insisting Mueller "got scared" and refused to interrogate the president.

The Rats shot their wad and are left with nothing left in the bag to even threaten the president with. They are done. All they have is whining, crying, and CNN with its 6 or 7 viewers.
Michael Moore is NOT a “liberal”, Fox writer Wolfsohn. Even his ex-wife said he was a Marxist (a real rich, fat slob of one, but still an anti-American Marxist traitor and fool).
Similar to what the ex-wife of leftist writer Norman Mailer said about him being a Marxist (in her book about her once husband).

Maher regrets? Was he in on it too? To regret something is actionable, in the first person.
I guess when the lions pile on their prey, the lioness who didn’t participate regrets missing the feed.
But Maher did join the attack, out of a deep personal conviction and I would like to know what that conviction is specifically, and why is it that the beasts loss to Trump caused such deep hatred of over half of the voters in this country.
Would the same leftists who promote the ideas that trophys should be given to everybody choose to be so malcompetitive and backstabbing and small minded in this regard? That’s hypocrisy. Is the left hypocritical? It appears so. Behaviorly they come off as cliqueish high schoolers.
In this world there are fools, who cannot come to grips with reality, and would rather bury themselves than admit they might have been wrong. No amount of logic, facts, or clarity seems to bring them to their senses. We are under no obligation to bury ourselves also, in a vain attempt to somehow make things fair. We should walk away, without another thought.
I don’t know if it emboldened Trump but it sure emboldened his supporters.
Most people with an IQ over room temperature would regret it
due to there not being anything worthy of impeaching him for.
Of course that leaves Bill on the outside of that
qualification.

Oh well, if trusting journos say its just "routine” ........then no one will mind if "routine intel activity" is conducted on Nancy Pelosi,
her son and her husband.....including all of the Pelosis' electronic communications – emails, text messages, and so on.

Yep, I think it was ole Will Rogers that said, “Some men learn by reading, some men learn by observation, and some men have to pee on the electric fence.” Maher is definitely in the latter category.
He's a lefty no doubt, but giving credit where due he calls out his side when it's called for.
