They are dying because of underlying causes and confined exposure to others who are contaminated.

They probably do, but the government doesn't have the right to shut down the private sector, ESPECIALLY when it comes to interfering with interstate commerce. It's never been done before and should never happen again.
What they should have done, is pull out all the stops to protect the most vulnerable....but they didn't. Instead, they destroyed small businesses and healthy people's lives. Many in lockdown have committed suicide.

I'm sure they didn't intend to give them the power to become Nazi control freaks, shutting down everything, including non-essential churches, but allowing the essential pot shops to remain open. Violating everyone's Constitutional Rights on several levels.
With a lethality rate at a fraction of a percent, we cost the private sector trillions of dollars and spent trillions more on a deliberate attack, and a major hoax, which turned out to be a minor health issue.
