Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) is attempting to shift blame onto President Trump for a New York directive that sent coronavirus patients into nursing homes, risking the lives of elderly, vulnerable people.
For weeks, despite access to the governor at daily press briefings, a fawning press failed to question the governor about an ill-conceived state directive that may be responsible for the staggering number of coronavirus deaths in New York nursing homes and adult care facilities.
A March 25th state directive required such facilities to admit patients with either suspected or confirmed cases of the Wuhan coronavirus. The directive even prohibited these facilities from requiring a coronavirus test for patients being admitted from a hospital. Cuomo only reversed the disastrous policy earlier this month.

It was heart breaking to watch JD talking about her in-laws. Think of how bad that is going to be for people who agonized over the decision to put parents into a home or assisted living, and then have to deal with this Covid being deliberately introduced into the homes.
The DemoRats never miss an opportunity to blame others for their mistakes.

Most new Covid-19 hospitalizations in New York state are from people who were staying home and not venturing much outside, a “shocking” finding, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Wednesday.
The preliminary data was from 100 New York hospitals involving about 1,000 patients, Cuomo said at his daily briefing.
It shows that 66% of new admissions were from people who had largely been sheltering at home. The next highest source of admissions was from nursing homes, 18%.
“If you notice, 18% of the people came from nursing homes, less than 1% came from jail or prison, 2% came from the homeless population, 2% from other congregate facilities, but 66% of the people were at home, which is shocking to us,” Cuomo said.
“This is a surprise: Overwhelmingly, the people were at home,” he added. “We thought maybe they were taking public transportation, and we’ve taken special precautions on public transportation, but actually no, because these people were literally at home.”
They were sheltering in place just as “experts” like Drs. Fauci and Birx and politicians like Andrew Cuomo have been telling us to do, yelling at us to do.

Blaming Trump is a non starter because none of the republican red state governors sentenced their nursing home infirm and old people to death by making them take in covid positive patients.
Nope; Cuomo and the other dem governors are America’s most notorious mass murderers now. No way around it. Of course the leftist enemidiots will ignore this and the dems will spin it but the people will know the dem party is now the party of mass murderers.
