There is no doubt we overreacted now that we know the virus is nowhere as deadly as the WHO first said it was. Trump was asked the other day that if there is a flare-up in the fall, will we shut down again? He adamantly said no more shutdowns and that we would put out the fires as they emerge. Trump knows he has been played.

True..... "Trump knows he has been played."

It's tough for the good fine fellow Donald to get everything right all the time without good solid friends TO WHOM HE IS WILLING TO LISTEN.

But he's not perfect, and I don't see ANYONE in his life able to keep him straight. And so far, it's difficult to see anyone to whom he will listen.

It's on the simple little things where he fails.

But, he fails only because he cannot find it in himself to step back quietly and tell everyone that he could or should have said something in a kinder or more appropriate way at times. If he could do that ... he'd be a winner nearly always.

Simply ................ Donald J. Trump needs me. (I'll work for free..... and he will secure the Presidency in 2020).

Without me, or someone of similar content, he's looking like someone trying to hit a Sandy Koufax curveball ... down and in.

Fascistii and Brixed are prime examples of “Deep Staters”. They have been at the government teat so long that they can conceive of no other way of life.

“But, he fails only because he cannot find it in himself to step back quietly and tell everyone that he could or should have said something in a kinder or more appropriate way at times.”

I can’t agree - I think he occasionally fails simply because he’s human and nobody bats 1000.

If he were to “step back quietly and tell everyone that he could or should have said something in a kinder or more appropriate way..” his kindness would not be rewarded except by those who already appreciate him. It would be perceived as weakness and exploited relentlessly by his many detractors.

Having said that, I think he would benefit immeasurably by your services, if he were to take you up on your offer. You have a keen political sense and a way with words - every leader needs a good team behind him.

Take for example this new press secretary, Kayleigh McEneny. She adds hugely to his arsenal - but not because she softens or corrects inappropriate remarks. She is able to defend and amplify his message, and articulate it unapologetically.

There is really nothing wrong with President Trump’s message. He tells the unvarnished truth. It would be more civil and “presidential” with a coat of varnish on it, but we didn’t elect him to sugar-coat.

I hope I never have to witness a doctor performing rectal surgery - it’s probably disgusting and unpleasant to watch.

I imagine war is the same - and draining the swamp. If he’s willing to get his hands bloody, I figure the least I can do is not look away when things get ugly.

hink you could be a

Seriously?

Dude... Just no.

If President Trump was not the rough, tough New Yorker that he is we’d all be bowing to President Hillary right now.

He is what he is.

And I want him to fight back EVERY day. We’ve had it with kindness. That gave us the Bushes, the Clintons, the Obamas.
