I’m 5th generation Irish on my father’s side. My Dad, WWII Navy veteran of the Battle of Okinawa and Normandy had a good head on his shoulders — a Reagan Democrat.

And he died at 67 years old before the current era of DemocRAT idiocy and Uniparty evolved.

But when I look at some of the thinking of my relatives back in Mass, I see a lot of bull-headed Irish logic. There’s a certain parochial pride that is idiotic the closer you live to downtown Boston. They call Boston the “Hub of the Universe”.

But the ‘burbs are where some of the finest technological and entrepreneurial minds in the country live.

Yes, they are certainly headed to “withering”. Then again, the failure of the Democrat Pols in this refusal to get back to work may et the wheels in motion for a political revolt. We can only hope.

On LST 520.

He was the Gunner’s Mate. In combat action it was the Gunner’s Mate’s job to remove explosive shells from the breach of the ship’s guns.

In a hot gun situation, there was always the chance that the shell would explode inside the gun from a cook-off.

One time my Dad removed the shell, threw it overboard and it exploded before it hit the water.

Yikes!

Dad manned an AA position at the base of the #3 turret on the Maryland, a Kamikaze flew bare feet over his head to explode on the top of the turret.

The thug was an employee of the nursing home. That makes them responsible for his actions. The patient and family
may have a BIG bucks case.

What makes you think he was an employee of the home?

He was moved there from another facility for criminals because he was CV19 +, is what I read last week.

He should have remained in whatever detention facility he was in.

Again, the poor old timer he beat probably has no family which is why he was in this 3 rd rate, poor history and track record convelesant home.

If you are right, then President Trump’s push to open up the country should kill more Republicans than Democrats. On the other hand in areas where I have lived, a lot of the elderly seem to have Democrat values like favoring the Roosevelt New Deal.

But if all the crazy and mentally defective homeless, etc. were but back in state mental hospitals, then we would have to pay more in taxes for their housing and treatment. Now, all we have to do is pay for police.

I was recently in Chincoteague, VA which has a strongly Trump supporting native born population (as opposed to the recent retirees). One active landscaping contractor was really pixxed because he couldn’t get any local born workers to help him with his spring contracts. “They are too happy with this free unemployment money they are getting to come back to work.” He was talking about young men who all talk pro Trump. As to whether they vote, I don’t know the answer. But, they enjoy their booze, cigarettes and hanging out.

Riiiight, and you really don’t believe that we all pay higher a higher cost both monetarily for social services, food and product costs to cover pilferage, insurance not to mention the social costs of communicable disease and the like and decimation of property values? Yeah sure.
