""I think that the real virus was the panic virus," Levitt said. "For reasons that were not clear to me, I think the leaders panicked and the people panicked and I think there was a huge lack of discussion."

It's perfectly clear, they found a way to damage Trump and in typical fashion, they weren't going to let a crisis go to waste. Simple as that.

states can’t prevent evictions for ever.

people will be evicted
people will lose their homes because they can not pay their mortgages
people will stop medical treatments due to cost, some will die for it
and then there are all those children who depend on the incomes of their parents for their well being

40 million people are unemployed, millions more rely on those 40 million for their well being

that is going to lead to a lot of deaths in many different ways, and of course tremendous suffering

Yes, the lockdown has been much worse than the virus itself

I would add that 5 months from now much of the real and permanent suffering will be apparent to people.

People tend to focus on current events, and virus deaths are happening now. So that is what people think and talk about.

But 5 months from now the current event will be the great suffering of a substantial portion of our people. And people will realize how the Democrat dictators and the media have harmed us so greatly.

I also suppose “herd” is a perfectly fine word to use. Like many words in the English language, it has more than one precise definition or specific use.

Most actual scientists from Stanford and Oxford are pointing out that we over reacted. The only reason that our policy of lock down was valid at all, was that we did not know what the virus was capable of. Now we do, and it is not worth the lock down at all, not even close.

Really important, the death rate for everyone is not nearly as high as we feared. But more important, its not as high as it was before we figured out how to treat it. We know not to throw people on ventalators. We know there are drugs that help reduce the impact of the disease. We know who will fair worst. And we know who are barely affected. So, if you look at the numbers over the past month, the virus is far less deadly in most places.

The democrats are still throwing out these children cases. Where they say a death is “Linked to” the virus. Its not linked to anything. They just want to keep day cares and schools closed to hamper working parents. Children are remarkably unaffected by this virus. And all over Europe they are going back to school with no ill effects.

Ok how about group immunity? Look, I didn’t make the terminology, it was around long before me.

Before this thread rides completely off into the sunset, I just wanted to add a quick musical touch, showing one use of that "herd" term which should not be controversial for anyone.   Here goes:

"I Herd It Through The Grapevine" - Creedence Clearwater Revival

Take care, and God bless all here!       :-)
