I used to know Dan Collins. He and I were in the same young adult group at our Catholic parish. St. Phillip in Pasadena CA. Maybe 1991-1992. Yes, he was very competent and also conservative. I was single and husband-hunting at the time but wasnt really interested in him. He is of modest stature and I had the awkward feeling that I probably outweighed him. I think he dated and married a lovely and sophisticated young woman who spoke fluent French.
As a grandfather, I approve of you, your husband, Dan and his wife.
You are all doing the right thing.
It's MY duty to make sure that no malignant forces interfere with the upbringing of the children.
I encourage everyone on here to read his dissenting opinion; it is excellent, and a really good civics lesson on the First Amendment that can be enjoyed by lay people just as much as legal scholars.
