this makes sense! why have a convention in a state that has a Dem governor anyhow?
_______________
I agree. Why give financial benefits to a state which opposes the RNC platform?

I think you could make an argument, a weak one, that outreach in a purple state is a good move. But other than that, the convention should be in friendly territory.

Plus can't trust a rat Governor not to pull the rug out on the convention at the last moment.

Coronavirus lockdown restrictions in North Carolina have been inconsistent, which has hurt the state’s business community, Lt. Gov. Dan forest said Tuesday.

Forest, a Republican running for governor this year, said that Democratic Gov. Roy Cooper’s arbitrary rules have entrepreneurs hurting and confused.

Atlanta is perfect. Large gay community for the RNC men to patronize. You would be shocked at how many Ken Mehlmans there are at RNC HQ.

Everybody on MSNBC says that Stacey Abrams is the true governor of Georgia.

As far as I know she might be, she hasn't conceded yet, has she?

Kemp may be an interloper.

Gov Cooper is under orders from Pelosi and company- no opening until Biden is elected president.

Technically yes RNC But they will do whatever DJT wants
What he is asking is not unreasonable
to know so planning can be done

can’t wait to see how the NC Dem Gov decides

Jacksonville Florida would be a great place for the Republican convention.

I agree
But there also might be merit in having NC host it.
DJT carried NC in 16
and we need him to again
He could even help the GOP LtGv win gov race

Just heard on the Conservative Circus Radio this morning a Phoenix Councilman said they sent Trump an invitation to host it here in Phoenix. Of course, we’re talking about our hottest month but Arizona is a critical state for the election, so maybe Trump might decide to help swing more voters who need business.

True. Trump bloodied Kemp pretty good just a few weeks ago.

I never understood why they chose NC with Dem Gov and the whole incident with “good people on both sides” rally that ended in death of a woman.
