Speaking of lawsuits, I don’t know of a single instance in NYS where a nursing home went to court to fight Cuomo’s directive forcing the return of WuFlu patients. Or called their local, state, federal legislators, the media.
If that’s in fact the case, I wonder why that is...

Great points. Lots of neglect out there from nursing homes across the country. How many made a stand and actually put their patients first? Seems like the norm these days to get a bailout in some form or cya.
Following the money: NY State saves 120K+ in Medicaid expenditures for each Medicaid funded nursing home resident that “leaves” the system.
There are many foreign media outlets that do a far better job of covering the US than our own media in general.

Indeed.
I recall when hillary started off her presidential campaign with a “listening tour” in which she would meet with the average residents of a state, sit down with them, and get their input on what was wrong with the country and how can it be fixed. The american press fawned all over this.
But it was from the british daily mail that I learned that the people she was meeting and being photographed with werent your average citizens. Instead, they were professional democrat party operatives.
Democrats demand we have a cure and ask how many deaths are acceptable before opening up and THEN we find Cuomo takes bribes to keep Democrat friends from being sued for basically killing people. This is before we even know what Gavin Newsome and Nancy Pelosi have done. My head is about to explode.
Something else I’ve noticed: where are the families screaming bloody murder over the horrible deaths if their loved ones? Especially after learning they will have no redress available in court.
There’s a rumor going around that families are being paid off, threatened, coerced. Not that hard to imagine, especially for families of illegals, Medicaid cheats.
Where are the families?
There need to be war crimes trials.
