So, when do you believe you will stop wearing a mask? Will droplets ever cease expelling from orafices?
When I see our state numbers finally dropping instead of rising. As it stands, Arizona is (correctly or incorrectly) looking at another 1000 deaths, give or take.
When I see that not bearing out, the mask will be in the trash.
One thing I’m frequently reminded of is Japan. Arizona has roughly the same numbers. That’s 126 million vs. 7.5 million, and we have the same deaths. What do they do, almost religiously? Masks, even when there is no virus going around.
Why not? I can understand not wearing one at the diner, but when it’s practical. I don’t think it should be made into a political statement.
I’m done wearing a mask for corona. I will only wear a mask again for sanding and grinding.

If I am going to be in a place just a very few minutes, I wear a mask. The blasted thing fogs my glasses and rides up so it doesn't do its' job after a few minutes.
For longer periods of time, I use my Skidoo BV2S snowmobile helmet that has an adjustable air box and valves. I add a cut down mask taped over the air outlet to catch anything the air box and labyrinth doesn't.
When I am sufficiently away from other people, it is quick and easy to pop up the face shield and down the air box section, quick to put back if someone approaches.
For longer times, I used a supplied air Klim SUT helmet, RaceAir filter/blower and a battery pack. The filter/blower and battery mounted on a WWII backpack frame.
Yesterday I used the last setup for mixing bagged concrete, worked great. Have also used it for removing horsehair plaster and rock wool insulation.
Will us it at ARA events that are either dusty or muddy when it's dusty, where I do ham radio communications and vehicle extractions.
While the masks when properly worn and disposed of aren't 100% perfect, they do help.
They greatly reduce the droplets spread while talking, breathing hard, etc. You would be surprised just how much we expel under normal circumstances, not counting coughing and sneezing.
One of the worst things about this virus is that you can spread it without knowing you have it, so best to reduce the chance.
One of these days; a few thousand Richard Dreyfuss types are going to remove their masks...
