once in the store some people pull them down but have to pull them back up for checkout.

.....................................................

I was in w-m yesterday and had to wear a mask to get in but pulled down immediately after entering. I observed many customers AND employees, including the check out girl did the same. Illinois. What a joke!

I don't watch TV. Have one here in the house for vids and such, but that's about it. I had no idea how massive the propaganda drumbeat was on the boob tube until I went to visit a cousin over the weekend. It is everywhere and relentless. Every stinking commercial was designed to instill and beat fear into people. That's not even considering the drumbeat coming from any "news" program. It is a massive and relentless propaganda exercise. I suspect folk who are constantly exposed to it even notice it, as I'm sure it started small and built up to its present volume over time. To me though, it was just jarring.

I used to wonder how an industrialized and civilized country like Germany could have allowed something like the Holocaust to happen. I really don't wonder anymore. It seems that every society is filled to the brim with Karens who will take marching orders from propaganda without even pausing for a moment to think about it. It's even found here on FR in disgraceful and sickening quantities.
