How much dishonesty can one tweet contain? A tweet Tuesday by CNN host Jake Tapper about coronavirus was so untethered from the truth that it was a difficult task to determine what was more dishonest, the photo or the message, or all of the above.
After the mercifully long Memorial Day weekend, CNN’s professional coronavirus scold took beachgoers to task for failing to socially distance. And he brought the “receipts,” or so he thought.
In 18 states — including Georgia, Arkansas, California and Alabama — the number of new COVID-19 cases is rising.
Here’s the photo he and CNN used to make the point about increasing numbers of Wuhan virus cases in “George, Arkansas, California and Alabama” due to failing to properly social distance.

The CNN story Jake Tapper’s links to suggests that those in the above photo were flagrantly disregarding distancing recommendations and causing immediate problems.

This fake news photo, for lack of a better term, certainly was a top reason to nix the tweet. Another was that it led people to believe that Memorial Day crowds, or any crowds, were to blame for increases in the coronavirus in Georgia, Arkansas, California and Alabama. The third thing question is were there increases in those states? And the fourth issue is the photo was taken…in Maryland.
As night follows day, the Ocean City, Maryland Mayor, Rick Meehan, called the photo misleading because he was there and saw what was really happening.

Lost in the focus on Tapper and “fake photography” is a telling concession that - as I’ve probably parroted here prior - they’ve shifted from “hospitalizations” to “cases” to drive the narrative.
From CNN’s linked source at Tapper’s article, clicking through the twit:
“He added the number of cases “is primarily driven by finding asymptomatic or unserious cases, through our ramped up targeted testing.” Active hospitalizations, patients in intensive care, patients on ventilators and deaths have stayed relatively flat, Reeves said.”

Jake thinks its a “crowd” because there are more people in the photo than watch CNN in a day.
Just like Nurse Wretched's husband in Michigan and Gropin'Joe Biden of whatever planet he's from.
How many of those new cases are of the mild or asymptomatic variety?
In GA a private commercial testing lab had collected thousands of tests and test results and then dumped them all at the same time on the Department of Public Health for the DPH to put in its reports. Naturally there was a spike in reported cases.
All cases reported are reports about the past, and not the present. But the way some of them come in we do not know if it is the recent past or the distant past. Apparently it is some of each and we do not know the percentage.

Photos, like statistics, can be manipulated to tell the story the enemedia wants you to believe.
On the issue of case numbers, the important number is the change in percentage of those testing positive, not the static number. The number of cases will always go up unless their are none but if the delta is going down, it is indeed a positive event not negative. By just citing the numbers as these asshats promote to an equally dull audience it just misleads them which of course is the intent.
The libs normally talk about 2A as if it was static in that we should only be allowed to have the firearms available in 1789. But, when they talk of a free press, they cover all media today, not just the print media that was available when 1A was adopted. Of course, they do not see the irony there. This oversight allows dirtbags like Trapper to flourish.
Yawn... when is this melodrama going to end?
