What constitution?

You really think that there is still a constitution after the coup attempt and the ongoing turf wars the enemy is waging?

Some of you people...

Not just slander, but literally BILLIONS of copyright infringement dings as individual users post images they do not own, onto the platform, without permission from or attribution to, the owner

Unconstitutional.
He has no such authority.
What is this a dictatorship?
Try it. Just try.

In a national emergency, there are some additional 137 powers reserved to the President. He doesn't have to exercise all of them, but he can, legally.

“Unconstitutional”

Wrong. The Anti-Trust laws have been upheld repeatedly.

“He has no such authority.”

The DOJ certainly does. And guess who they answer to. Go ahead.

“What is this a dictatorship?”

Congress passed these laws nearly a century ago. Take it up with them if you have a problem with it.

NOTICE that it was a Trump post about mail in voting that they choose to do this on.

That is very significant.

”Why regulate or close down? Why not create new, better ones? Where are conservative tinkers, movers and primers, investors, technicians?”

The Americans that you are talking about are either unemployed or living on the edge of poverty because they have been replaced by Indians and Chinese H-1B workers. The American middle class has been impoverished for a reason, to weaken us politically and economically.

‘ZACTLY!

I would LOVE to see that happen! Especially after one more conservative makes it to the SOTUS!

AMen.

Says it all, doesn’t it?

Just like using the plandemic for forcing lock downs, to hurt economy and try to force their cheating, vote by mail.

Unconstitutional.

Sure, just like the constitution prevents the government from forcing people to associate with other people that they otherwise would not. Like renting an apartment to somebody that they don't want to, or serving someone in a restaurant that they, for whatever reason, don't want to.

Clearly the government would never be able to create and enforce anti-discrimination laws. It would be totally legal for Twitter to just ban people of a certain race if they felt like it. Or restaurants to ban people of a certain religion from eating at the restaurant. That's what the constitution says.

We already have laws protecting Americans from discrimination for all kinds of reasons. We can certainly add more if necessary.

Yes, it certainly is. You would have expected they'd try it over one of the Joe Scarborough posts.

It might be tough to get a law passed in the House that states that “Social media platforms and websites must permit Conservative Views to be expressed, and never censor Conservative Views, but it can be done by Executive Order.

BS. The social media platforms pose no constitutional issue to free speech. As defined by the US Constitution the only entity that is prohibited from imposing restrictions on speech is the US Government.

In other words Trump throttling social media would be unconstitutional censorship.

Jim Robinson can throw everyone of us out if he so chooses. If tomorrow he decided he hated Trump he could impose his standard on anyone on this site.

He has authority under the same precedent that broke up AT&T. If a communications medium becomes ubiquitous and the next competitor pales by comparison in size, then freedom of speech takes precedent over private ownership.

HaHaHa you and I both know he can do it and you whining about it sure as hell won’t stop him. If our history especially since 1860 proves anything its that a president can do pretty much whatever he has the balls to try

I think it is like anti-monopoly law. Yeah it is a little totalitarian, but in certain cases it is needed.

This is a huge violation of free speech.

Therefore it can be justified.

They’ve already silenced me. Facebook kicked me off permanently. They didn’t like my opinions.

Plus the left has been attacking any business they disagree with by denying financial services. It’s really hard to compete when you are not allowed access to money.
