I read contradictory information on test efficacy. Which ones are better than 50% accurate with few false positives/negatives?
As testing reveals (accurately or not) that more and more people are positive, this lowers the mortality rate, is that correct? So, we have scads of people testing positive, most with mild or no symptoms and the mortality rate plummets.
Doesn’t that undermine the message of fear?
I have also read that people are not seeking tests and some places, the test sites have closed down. No one wants a scarlet letter.
