Those who want to wear masks can wear them or even become hermits. If they lose their jobs in the process, so what. Now a lot of people are losing jobs.

Most masks don't work against viruses anyway. Even the best ones. The openings in the mask material are larger than the size of the virus itself. It neither stops the virus from getting in nor stops the virus from getting out to infect others.
These measures are "feel" good measures by the Karens of the world who don't realize that civilizations have survived for centuries without masks and will continue to do so.
Notice that while on MSMBC calling for legislation to make wearing masks mandatory, Gupta is not wearing a mask. That tells me everything I need to know about not wearing a mask at all.
