It they outsource that moght be more acceptable actually. But they are not. They are bringing these scabs into the US wity their families and their spouses are being granted H4EAD visas and their kids are being granted OPT visas. Once they get Green Cards, their parents steal our Social Security.
An oft repeated rule is one a single Indian gets employed anywhere. No further Americans will ever get employed. Except perhaps as a janitor.
When Disney furloughed mostly their entire staff earlier this year, they kept their Indian H1B workforce employed so they wouldn’t have to go back to India.
Trump’s extension of time an H1B was allowed to remain in the US after jobless (from the normal 60 days limit to 240 days) was traitorous. His BIL Jared Kushner needs to go.

Oddly, they are also claiming only 20M are still on unemployment even though they filed for unemployment only within the past 10 weeks. This would say over 20 million went back to work.

An airline ticket costs in excess of $3000 when flights resume later the year (Philippines Airlines, all other carriers like United/Asiana ceased service there indefinitely) and that country is still locked down.
They are in the Philippines. Burnt through my savings to pay a $2200 a month mortgage payment, a $700 a month car payment and $800 in monthly expenses there (the cost-of-living for most things is actually higher there, for things like internet, petrol, electricity, water and food)
Wife lost her resort job as well. All resorts closed until January there by government order.
Had to buy a new used car here in April when my engine blew. Still owed 6 months on the old car. They did not waive payments due to the Wuhanic Plague. $400 a month ($2400) at 48% interest left on a car worth $2000. Been paying 1.5 years. In collections now. my fault for working overseas for 20 years an not maintaining a US credit card, and returning to the US with a FICO score of 0. Stupidly maintained my health insurance for 1 month. That cost me $2400 alone (Corba - BCBS)
Gambled and used the last of my savings to enroll in a CDL Truck Driving School. $4500 was a lot of money. Enrolled in the school now, but have to wait until August until I can pass the hair folicle drug screen - I shave my head every 3 months as I abhor long hair. Last time I had 2” of hair anywhere on my body was almost 40 years ago in high school. Looking for a carrier that only uses piss tests.
So yeah, its a money flow issue.
49 near 50 yr old Type 2 Diabetic son Asst Manager applied for UE 10 weeks ago, just before the big wave hit, still not gotten it. Having to borrow rent and food money from his Senior Mom who is on SS. His chances of a job are bad, not done Manuel labor in 20 yrs..AGE/HEALTH DISCRIMINATION NO Degree worked his way to Manager.
Yes they miss the Obama&Co golden years not only unemployment but houses lost.

Eldest has to work until he can draw SS at least another 13 rs, he’s a Type 2 Diabetic and has to have ins. Plus he’s a Work-a-holic, 60-70 + hrs a week is his usual. Grandson got cheated out of graduation, his school shut down 3 weeks early, lost 2 courses + graduation HS, he was applying for Tech school prior to the lock-down, doesn’t know if his HS will reopen even. Has to go back next yr to regain the 2 courses he lost passing in. This crap has screwed honest people badly.
Sorry to hear and hope it works out for your family. I have said this before. The Democrats have ruined peoples lives by keeping areas shut , and unable for people to make a living. All because they want their power back and beat the President.
Many people have already been called back to their jobs. My neighbor works for Tesla & whe was ONLY off for 4 weeks total.
The numbers of people called back needs to be reported, also.
As for those who are refusing to go back to work-—the numbers of those who will lose their benefits also needs daylight.
IF you refuse to return when called back, you are an effective QUIT & your unemployment is over.
