While protesters surrounded the Minneapolis police department’s 3rd Precinct for the second straight night to demand action after the death of George Floyd, others looted nearby stores and set fire to the Autozone across from the precinct. The National Guard got called out to replace police for crowd control:

Old Serpent loves confusion and discontent... after seeing the wrenching video of what appears the indefensible killing of George Floyd in decades long Democrat controlled Minneapolis... a very interesting paradox:

“Blue” governors and mayors often claim to despise their own “racist” police departments...but also demand the same cops close down the churches, arrest hair dressers and gym owners who dare question their shutdown orders. Those who protest eternal shutdowns and their impending economic ruin are labeled by Dems/media as “racist white supremacists endangering our democracy and wanting people to die”... yet those protesters burned NO buildings and looted NO stores, in spite of themselves facing real economic hardship!

However, those who rioted in protest of the death of Mr. Floyd are seen by the same Dems/media as “justified” in their anger to loot and burn the property of those who had NOTHING to do with his sad violent death. #BlueRustyIrony

We all knew this was not going good for the Minneapolis folks.

The folks that live in the city should not have burned and looted the city, period.

They should just handcuffed and ankle cuffed the criminal and this would be the end of it. If he was spitting on the police or other folks then they should have put a hood over his head.

Any sympathy I had is gone when I see riots like this. This is not to say I don’t feel sympathy for hardworking people who may live in this area and have to get up and go to work, because I do feel sympathy for them.

Black Lives Matter is a Leftist hoax. This isn’t to say blacks aren’t occasionally victims of abusive police, but in context it is not the issue they paint it to be.

It is a Leftist construct to whip up racial resentment.

And they do a fine job at that.

And the next time I hear about “food deserts” in areas like this, one only needs to look at the damaged and looted supermarket and feel and urge to puke.
