SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco is chartering its on course on how to reopen, differentiating itself from the five Bay Area counties it once stood aligned with on how to move forward in the COVID-19 fight.

Mayor London Breed announced at a news conference on Thursday that the city's current stay-at-home order, which was set to expire on Sunday, would be extended "indefinitely."

Yes sir, they’re getting exactly what they deserve. You voted for it. You live with it. Stop whining.

I think this all goes back to their plan to have mail in voting. People can’t go to the polls if they are incarcerated in their own homes.

I can’t fathom the permanent structural damage this is doing/going to do to the economy. The restaurant, tourist, and related industries are huge in SF.

It is also accomplishing another goal. Finding out how much government suppression the people are willing to suffer. The apparent willingness of the people to suffer this is opening a Pandora’s box of despotism like never seen in the history of this republic.

I believe there was a time in our history as a country where what is being done to us now would have already incited widespread violence.

THIS is how you subdue your ‘subjects’!

Give them hope then yank it all back with three days to go until freedom

PURE EVIL in SF CAL

I’m sure the gay bath houses are still allowed to open, with or without a mask.

Let them close the city forever.

Few paid attention to that on the western slope of Colorado either. Heck, we went to Utah one day. Masks were very popular for about 2 weeks and many already aren’t wearing them anymore unless a place of business says it’s tied to their license. Barber, got to wear one. Grocery store, it’s voluntary and plenty of people of all ages are not wearing them.

Ditto that up here in North Dakota. I work part-time at a small town bar. Business has been booming since we opened back up to full service on May 1st. People are happy to be out and tipping well, I’m averaging $30.00 to $50.00 per hour!

Without NY and CA, the USA economy does not recover.

Perhaps culturally (because where would the USA be without $200/ticket Broadway shows and gay naked bicycle rides?) but in 2020 how many of the things that actually get done in big US cities can't be done somewhere else? And done much better and much cheaper?

The voters have to realize "THEY ELECTED this CLOWN",

They either have to LIVE with it... or take radical measures to CHANGE things.

Remember... "If things DON'T change they'll stay the SAME!"

What’s going on is very bad news. Without NY and CA, the USA economy does not recover.

Almost like a leftist plan with Whitmer,Cuomo and Newsom loving every minute of this.

Get them together with Pelosi,Schiff and Schumer and say "Now you guys didn't really plan this to sink America's economy by a prolonged lockdown did you?"

Then all look upward and don't say a word but try to suppress little smiles. Even Pelosi smiling through the Botox.

For decades, many people have wondered when swift judgment was going to befall SF by an EQ or whatever. Eternal Quarantine?

Okay, so on that note what if the place is destroyed from within by a stay-at-home order... it’s kind of weird because the problem Lot had was the people knocking on his door, wanting his guests to leave the house so the crowd could get to “know” them.

Lot apparently sensed that they meant closer than 6 feet. And then he volunteered his daughters, which sounds cruel but was like offering a couple of cheeseburgers to a gang of militant vegans.

No sense of humor was tolerated in that town.

And then to add insult to injury, the account was preserved in chapter 19.
