Does this mean they will have to actually use indoor bathrooms to poop and pee?

How about the guy who likes to walk around naked in downtown San Fran? How is going to show off his assets?

So, what do “ we” get to do or say about it?
Like the virus...this state power overreach needs to be addressed by the people of the state. Unfortunately they are going to have to suffer enough to demand change

“Then they’ll ask for big bailouts.”

They already have!

I don’t think this is legal but would not expect a constitutional challenge to be successful, at least at the local level. Now it may be a different story with some of the new Trump judges on the 9th Circuit...

Due to the ridiculous apartment rent, a lot of people in San Francisco are living in what amounts to submarine sleeping berths. If they were felons serving time, this would be cruel and unusual punishment.

Without NY and CA, the USA economy does not recover.

I'll take that bet.

While I can sympathize with your sentiment, a house divided against itself cannot stand. Shall all of California be destroyed if there are still good people residing there? See Abraham asking God the same question during a theophany in Genesis chapter 18.

Let me turn that around on you. Shall the rest of the nation be forever bound to bail out California just because they hold a few “good people” essentially hostage? No. They should get the same answer that CA and other states gave Texas when the Texas economy crashed and burned in 1986 - “F*** you, fix it yourself.”

No negotiations with hostage takers.

I’ll say the same thing that I tell my relatives still in Hong Kong that refused to leave after 97. “You have known a long time that this problem was coming. Yet you stayed in place hoping that somehow something would change instead of getting out of the way of the boulder that would otherwise squash you and you constantly attacked and belittled those who left. Now you scream about needing to be saved. No sympathy for you.”

I agree, but that was not the issue, nor was it the issue with regard to Sodom and Gomorrah. Let them fail on their own with no help from any other as they fail due to their own policies. You are confuting the issue and premise.

I’ll be more direct. You asked, “Shall all of California be destroyed if there are still good people residing there?”

My answer: If they’re doing it to themselves, yes. Let it burn.
