UNTIL & UNLESS the police start shooting looters this anarchy will continue.

I was in CA when the Watts riots happened. = Had it NOT been for a relative few Korean store-owners who protected their own property, it would have been FAR WORSE.

Readers/Members will note that after the hurricanes & floods in Texas that there is little or no looting, as the criminals KNOW that they will be SHOT ON SIGHT.
(After the Houston flood, it took the neighborhoods less than 8 hours for local property owners to get out their deer rifles, get organized into citizen’s patrols & protect the neighborhoods.= NOT a drop of blood was shed on either side as the roving gangs of creeps KNEW that the owners WOULD shoot.)

At that time we had a 2BR condo off Westheimer & “got a visit from a uniformed Deputy Constable”, who asked if we were OK & did we have a firearm. = I said, “YES, we’re fine. I have a 9mm pistol & a deer rifle”. The Deputy said, “GOOD. You may need them.”
(We had NOT a single problem, except a “moderately severe” case of cabin fever before we could get out of Houston & back to San Antonio. - Shortly thereafter, we disposed of the condo.)
