Yup, I agree. Absolutely no reason to get additional charges placed on you. Fight back because you THINK you are doing nothing alone does not help. So, later you ARE found not guilty of the main offense charged by the cop, but you are GUILTY of the fighting back with the cop. Had you behaved, you would have been NG of the main offense and walked. But since you showed your hip pockets and got the second charge, you were guilty.
BTW, does your friend officer practice the knee to the blood artery
technique on his suspects for 8 minutes as well?
You are presuming events which have already been shown to be false, by the autopsy.
The knee was not cutting off blood from the artery. It may look like there is a lot of pressure on the neck, when there really isn't.
It explains a lot about the officer's facial expressions. If he knew he was not applying a lot of pressure, so he would know the bystanders simply do not know what they are talking about.
What many have assumed was indifference to the condition of the 6'7", extremely muscular man he was controlling, who it appears took 3-4 officers to get prone, because he was fighting them as they tried to get him into the car, could easily be indifference to the bystanders' attitude, because he knows they do not know what they are talking about.
A lot of assumptions going on.
It is why we have an adversarial system, so each side can present evidence and explain what happened from their knowledge.
It appears a lot of assumptions which were put into the narrative of the video, are turning out not to be true.
Once again did you even bother to ask your officer friend if he uses the same technique of his suspects?
From the context, It seemed he had used the technique some times. He said he had to deal with hundreds of drunk, drugged, and violent suspects.
He said the technique was taught as a way to keep a violent suspect on the ground, under control.
I am sure there is more. For example, the tox screen. And, the phrase, “contributed to his death” is wide enough to drive a Mack truck through. I suspect the state will try to claim Chauvin stressed him out or something. But to me the important point is the underlying heart condition.
I think they arrested Chauvin to appease the protesters. Like with George Zimmerman.
People in the ambulance were not paramedics. They were armed police. Very strange.

The videos show the victim walking and talking prior to being arrested. Witnesses and again videos will likely show he was telling the officer he could not breath. Applying body weight with a knee to anyone’s neck shows likely intent to harm and is not in my book an acceptable technique for subduing someone resisting arrest. The videos do not show Floyd resisting arrest.g Murder or manslaughter is for a trial and jury to decide. However there is ample evidence to indict and arrest this sadistic cop.
