I’ve said for several days that the cause of death is needed to determine if criminal charges are warranted because the knee holding him down may not have caused his death. He looked like he was foaming at the mouth so I wonder if some kind of drug might be a contributing factor.

Also, just what IS the standard procedure to hold someone down while they’re being handcuffed by another officer? And why on earth was he held like that for so long?

Just so you know, the man had been cuffed since he was taken out of his car. He was then sat down on the sidewalk. Then walked across the street, then he was put down and the knee to the neck applied.

I guess my point is, when we see the knee to the neck, it was not done to apply cuffs. He had been in cuffs for 15 minutes or so before the viral video.

Or at the very least I would’ve got up and yelled right in his face to get the hell off the guys neck

It’s possible the stress from the extended submission moves exacerbated another issue: drugs, heart, asthma, etc. It may very well be there is not a single issue (choked to death) that lead to his demise.
