At one time "Mace" was a teargas-like spray that subdued those who resisted arrest. It seems to have fallen out of favor. Taser is also used. George Floyd might have been under the influence of drugs. I don't know why 4 experienced police officers couldn't subdue a suspect without kneeling on his neck.

Maybe kneeling on his neck was all they could do short of shooting him, and only one person could kneel on his neck at a time?

Because half of LEO’s couldn’t run 1/4 mile, lift their own body weight off the ground, do 10 pull ups, or carry a bag of donuts out of a cruiser.
Weak bodies, weak minds, power trips . . . but STRONG in the only thing that matters to them. Strong Union Pensions!
If kneeling on a neck for 8 minutes is SOP for Cops, they need to fix that.
Train for hand to hand & drop the Effer.
It’s also s big reason why Gals and Those Yet to Decide should not be in arms reach of perps.
