You called me a liberal when I made it very clear I was speaking COMPLETELY about the cop and his record APART from Floyd and ANYTHING that happened regarding that case - but based totally on what we knew prior. And your response? Go to the "you are a liberal" card - which is a sure sign of intellectual inferiority. I am more conservative than Rush Limbaugh. Go look. I've CONDEMNED Trump on this site because he's been spending like a drunken sailor. Have YOU? And you are not alone in your conclusion about the Officer. He had long ago shown he should not have had a badge and a gun. The leadership chain, Mr. Daniels was referring to, completely dropped the ball on their responsibilities. And there really isn’t much evidence out there, if any, those in his chain of command will ever own up to their lapses of judgement. I understand Amy Klobuchar had this guy in her sights at least once and couldn’t get the job done.

Well, since cover ups and lack of communication was the reason why he kept rolling around with his uniform, it behoves on people to politely ask questions and to politely listen and answer in this case too.
In effect the culprit is a possession , an unconscious without checks. Any death, whether tragic, natural or not, should warrant such discussions. To flare up in particular because the victim is black or the perp is a cop, is disgenuine conditional outrage, imo. It misses the fact that the police culture is one of collaboration and taking it inwardly on people instead of defending the country and its values. Where were these looters when we were telling them that? To form a militia? To promote gun rights? Etc.
Nope. We only give fuel to the police who will be the ones taking all of these rioters who hate to the psychiatric ward, the only place where they will be able to talk.
It’s obviously the fault of this individual cop, who had TEN complaints of excessive use of force filed against him during his career, but it’s also the fault of their department. The rest of the cops standing around there seem to be fine with one of their officers kneeling on the neck of a prone, handcuffed person. I have LEO in the family and believe me, none of them think that is acceptable.
But it’s really a reflection of how badly that city is run and in fact how badly all Dem cities are run. For political “eyewash” purposes, they have black police chiefs, black mayors, mostly black city officials, but the average black citizen gets no protection and his life does not improve in any way. So it’s not about color, it’s about the massive corruption and incompetence of the Democratic Party and their entire apparatus.
Wish blacks would wake up and see this but the Dems are so protected by the media that I doubt they ever will.
I've been on one; and have had a similar experience.
It was like pulling teeth; impacted ones at that; to get folks to look at the EVIDENCE and quit relying on something they once heard before.
