I’m not a San Jose native - in fact, I grew up in a smallish town in southern California called Imperial. While I was growing up I couldn’t wait to get out.
I’ve lived in San Jose since 1995, and prior to that I lived on the eastern edge of LA County for about five years (more specifically, I lived in Pomona and Diamond Bar). And after thirty years of city life, I’d like to move back to the sticks.

I work near where Santa Clara Street crosses 101. Needless to say, my drive home was a real bitch today.

I very much remember the riots of 1992. I had to go there and rescue a young lady who was at the epicenter of the whole thing. I’ll never forget that afternoon.

If you are “white” all laws must be followed, but for the ‘minority’ folk laws are just suggestions to be ignored with impunity.
