I do think that making everybody stay at home for two months has contributed a little bit to this pent-up craziness that’s going on

That’s a beautiful shopping area, as I remember. I hope the historic Farmer’s Market (which I think is nearby?) is not destroyed...
good ole Joe Pyne! I watched from Santa Fe Springs,
during the Watts riots they burned every supermarket in the area, except ABC markets, a small chain of 10 store sin the inner city, the owner put 4 men with 30-06 on the roof of his markets, with orders to shoot anyone stepping on his property-not a single store was touched and ones across the street were burned to the ground, other larger chains withdrew from the area, bringing in activist to protest that they were being oppressed
IIRC there was a discount store chain called WHITE Front. They got burned out in all three south Central locations and it killed the chain which I think became Zody’s and Fedmart.
