Last night in one of the cities cops were stopping cars and pulling people out and arresting them for breaking curfew but ignored the rioters on the street...
I think these were people just going by and not participants...
I think one of the reasons were seeing these riots and the general lack of respect for the police is because of police enforcement activities during the shutdown. People were harshly prevented from going about innocent daily activities.
In Chicago, for example, the police have been unable to stop the looting and destruction...but three weeks ago, they were able to roust the congregation of a Romanian Evangelical Church and even impounded their cars while they were in church, and the next week they surrounded a mostly black Baptist church, yelling through bullhorns and pounding on and threatening to break down the front door.
People have lost all respect for the authorities, they feel driven out of their former lives and place in society, and Antifa is capitalizing on it.

I watched my local Los Angeles TV coverage last night...
There was a citywide curfew starting at 8 PM...
LAPD officers arrested people who showed up in Downtown Los Angeles after that time...The tow truck took away their cars...I think those people showed up at Downtown LA because they wanted to steal some merchandise...In my opinion...
It was chaotic in Downtown Los Angeles Friday night...Those drivers wanted to be part of some “action” Saturday night...
LAPD actually arrested people last night...TV news helicopters filmed those scenes...
The helicopters also filmed the cars stopping by some destroyed business...People got out and went into the business...They came out with some merchandise...Then they drove away...
I am NOT upset that drivers, who showed up in Downtown Los Angeles, have to pay several hundred dollars to get their cars back from the police impound place...They should have stayed home...
