President Trump was right when he placed blame Saturday for the riots tearing apart cities around the country on Antifa and other radical left-wing groups. He should now go one step further and declare Antifa a domestic terrorist organization.
The rioting this past week was ostensibly sparked by the death of George Floyd – a 46-year-old black man who was arrested by Minneapolis police Monday for allegedly trying to use a counterfeit $20 bill to buy cigarettes. There is no question that Floyd’s death was horrific and should never have happened. But in fact, many of the rioters affiliated with Antifa simply and cynically have used Floyd’s tragic death as an excuse to spread mayhem and destruction.
The officer who knelt on Floyd’s neck – Derek Chauvin – was charged Friday with third-degree murder and manslaughter. Chauvin and any other officers who go on trial for Floyd’s death should be punished to the full extent the law allows if convicted. But Floyd’s killing should not be used as an excuse by anyone to justify rioting and domestic terrorism that in many cases has victimized African-American small-business owners and others in many cities.

I wonder if it will ever occur to our elected leaders to rid the country of Antifa. Why are active terrorist organizations allowed to operate freely in this country? Americans are being arrested for working, but terrorists are protected bomb throwers.
I just wonder if this is the beginning of the General Insurrection that many of us have worried about. If you haven’t read it you should read “When the Almost Tree Blossoms” by David Aikman. It describes an America that has been torn apart by leftists who rise up against the government and march on Washington. The military could easily put it down but the president loses his nerve and gives up. I don’t believe that this president will lose his nerve and will do what it takes to maintain order.
We need a thorough investigation of Antifa. Who is funding it? Those people need to arrested and their assets need to be forfeited to pay the damages they caused.

Don’t really understand your point. When I look I see lots of young white kids and from the first I thought that they were Antifa who had “seeded” the crowd. Throw in BLM and you have the ingredients of a first class riots. When you have riots you have lootings.
It is surely Antifa and Black Lives Matters, with funding from leftist money bags (George Soros?).

Seems to me black lives matter was doing some pretty nasty damage before these other idiots showed up. Let’s not forget that.
I believe that a lot of the rioters are also personal failures who are attracted to the power and notoriety of the masses of people doing outrageous anti-societal acts. They seek to attach themselves to such power and thereby feel as though they are important, when in reality all they have are empty libtard platitudes to parrot.
Finally, it is interesting to see how the rioters "justify" to themselves stealing things which don't belong to them, using the situation to embolden themselves to acts they lack the courage to carry out alone. How is carrying off a large screen TV from a looted store going to bring back George Floyd? They are probably unaware that he once worked as a security guard.
The whole situation points out poignantly to the deviousness of the libtards in charge of public education, using their positions to fill the heads of our children with lies about how society works and to what one is entitled. To make time and space for this mentally castrating indoctrination, they neglect thorough groundings in language, math, science, and history, subjects necessary to master to make a well rounded citizen, and drop the standards set so that anyone fogging up a mirror "graduates". Graduating with a bunch of lies, fantasies, and libtard ideas hardly equips these "graduates" with the tools necessary to function well in a democratic society--like earning a good living and being able to intelligently discern issues--but DOES set them up to be ready followers of professional progressive agitators. So, too, does the neglect of moral education by parents contribute to this sacrifice of generations to the sirens of anarchy, eagerly fueled by the likes of enemy nations and the likes of Satan's agents such as Soros.

my point should be obvious...as soon as the video of the knee on the neck came out, there was immediate taking to the streets followed by looting and rampaging and destruction of property; this occurred before any organized effort by white leftists took effect...in other words, the lootings preceded the organized rioting, contrary to your contention, and were carried out by local blacks...
