LA Mayor Eric Garcetti announced a curfew in downtown LA starting 8p.m. Saturday through to 5:30a.m. Sunday, in desperate efforts to restore some order as he urged both law enforcement and protesters to 'take a deep breath and step back for a moment'.
Garcetti said he would stop short of calling for the activation of the National Guard.

Sorry but really can’t generate much sympathy for the liberals who live in Beverly Hills and run LA. The cops have been ordered to prevent the rioters from entering residential neighborhoods in Beverly Hills. The liberal hysterics and panic would have been really something to see.
These are NOT George Floyd protesters, they are anti-government rioters - Antifa. Much the same as the 60’s and 70’s. Floyd only provided the excuse to hit the streets - again.
Insurance companies should not pay for this destruction. This could have been prevented. The fault is on the mayor and his administration while decided to do nothing to protect property.
Let the businesses file lawsuits against the city. Bankrupt these democrat towns.

They ask the POTUS to bring in the US Military to help stop this and he can send them.
So, IMO, I see another incident here like what happened to GHW Bush were the Governor of the state of FL did not request help after that Hurricane in FL. Then they blamed GHW Bush for not providing help. They tried it on GW Bush during Katrina also, but it did not work so good that time.

Especially for the hollywood types who are trying to virtue-signal by offering to post bail for any of these criminal rioters who are arrested. It would be deliciously ironic to see this chaos spread to the residential areas where this holier than thou leftists live.
I haven't seen any of these useless celebs offering to reimburse anyone whose business has been destroyed by these rioting mobs.

My understanding is most insurance policies specifically Exclude damage or loss from civil unrest unless you add that to your policy. Larger stores may carry that extra policy, but I suspect many of the smaller businesses do not.
Yep. Look at the pictures and you see a lot of younger white males dressed in all black. This is exactly what we saw with the antifa protests before. Yeah simply using this as an excuse to riot
