Target said late Saturday night that it would temporarily close 175 of its locations across the U.S. after video of its Minneapolis store getting looted went viral amid the fifth night of chaotic protests sparked by the death of George Floyd, which saw protesters around the country destroying other shops and setting fire to police vehicles.
...In addition to the Minnesota closures, 49 Target locations in California and 12 in New York are temporarily shuttered, with the rest in Illinois, Missouri, Michigan, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas and Georgia, which have all seen protests.

Some of Atlanta’s black mayors haven’t been bad. Maynard Jackson, for example, might have been corrupt (like all Atlanta mayors, white or black...it’s a tradition) but he actually carried out a number of successful projects that benefitted all of Atlanta - and he was pro-business. I think he tried to stimulate black entrepreneurship particularly.
Democrat states or Democrat enclaves in Republican states. What a coincidence.

Somebody should tell Al Sharpton about this. Because I’ll bet you a dollar Target hasn’t closed any stores in majority white areas.
