“pent up pain” - would he please describe the cause of that pain.
And, I think, I can explain to him each cause listed is because of the black community’s action, or non action.
Could the reason so many are arrested is because more are born to single mothers and had no father figure in their lives? Could the huge number of school drop-outs be because of the reason sited above? We can go on and on. But I submit there must be change in the black community for good things to ever happen.
Many blacks have stepped up and done well in life. It seems I see more black faces on TV now than any other. They are into politics on both side of the aisle, in the Armed Forces, in business and industry in big numbers, law enforcement, etc. Many are doing great. Maybe those can be a force for good in the community left behind.
